About Hill-N-Dale Farm

Hill-N-Dale Farm is named after the Arabian Horse farm, which Amanda’s family originated in rural MN. Amanda’s mother, Ruthie, loved horses and dogs, and that love was passed on to her daughters, Amanda and Patty. The dog breed of choice was the miniature Poodle. A favorite memory was the sale of puppies near the holidays and seeing them leave with red bows around their neck, sure to put a smile on the faces of their new family members.

Currently, Hill-N-Dale Farm refers to the farm owned by Amanda and Gary Kaping and is located in central MN an hour west of Mpls MN. Breeding purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgis since 2017 and, most recently, Labrador Retrievers. The love of horses brought Amanda and Gary together, and we were inspired to raise puppies by Gary’s mother, Grace Kaping, who is well-known for her Golden Retrievers.
